Investing in the future of the next generation

CPG recently sponsored one of the scholarship students selected to attend this year’s International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) from 21 to 23 October. It isn’t directly tied to our core business, but supporting future talent in the resources sector is something we’re proud to be part of.

The delegation includes Courtney Berry, Michael Dyer, Arlo Goldsmith, Anika Paul and Alicia Welke, each given speaking opportunities throughout the event. Their sessions will roll out over the three days, with timings shared on socials as they’re announced.

This initiative is made possible through the support of several sponsors, including Resource Super, Grounded, R-Group International, WATM Equipment and CPG. Arlo Goldsmith, winner of the 2025 Regional Student Studying Geology Scholarship, will also feature in a roundtable discussion at 2:00pm on Day 3 in the IMARC Exchange Roundtables theatre.

His session explores how the mining sector is navigating geopolitical uncertainty and market volatility. He will share his perspective on attracting the next wave of talent and whether today’s safety, sustainability and technology standards are meeting expectations, alongside fellow scholarship student Alicia Welke.

Arlo’s attendance is supported by WA Mining Club Life Member Mike Cippitelli and the team at CPG. We’re glad to play a small role in helping the next generation step forward.
